Photo by Juan Wilson 1) Growing Food Seminar Series • Basic Skills for Growing Food for Self-Sufficiency • Comprehensive, hands-on training in organic gardening Starts Thursday September 3 from 4-7pm Tuition $120 Financial assistance available 2) Entrepreneurship Series • Business Planning, Managing & Financing • Building green enterprises that produce sustainable profitability Starts Wednesday September 2 from 4-7pm Tuition $120 Financial assistance available 3) Successful Gardening • Practical training in organic gardening at KCC Campus Garden • Requires 3 month commitment part-time to learn natural growing cycles • Receive a share of the abundant organic harvest weekly Starts Saturday September 6 from 8:30-noon + optional time on other day Total tuition $75 4) Seed to Table • Professional training leading to internship & job placement • Achieving genuine sustainability in local food production Starts September 15 - Ends December 17 Students participate 15 hours a week in training & practice Tuition $900 includes detailed manuals and hand-outs Opportunities are still open.
